Taroko National Park is one of the best places to visit in Taiwan. It is one of the many national parks in Taiwan. It’s probably the best known and the most visited, and rightly so. Despite being located in a less urbanized area, the park is easily accessible from the city of Hualien. To enjoy the park and its many sites of interest, it is necessary to plan a minimum of one day. Two in ideal if you wanted to have time. Indeed the site is very wide and there are many hikes to do. Some can be long. As a result, plan your time knowing that it is early night.

To reach the park, simply take the bus from Hualien Station. Shuttle buses run regularly during the day. Once in the park you can also move from one place to another using the shuttles.

Named after the local Truku aboriginal tribe, Taroko National Park is one of Taiwan’s most beautiful sights. Created by the continuous rising of the mountains with the erosive power of the Liwu River, Taroko Gorge with its tall, almost flat walls are a true marvel to view. Besides the gorge, other attractions include Hualien County and Eastern Taiwan.it’s really a place not to miss in Taiwan. The view of the gorges is really very impressive and the hikes are of all beauties.
